Chia seeds vegan chocolate mousse

Smooth and creamy vegan chocolate mousse that has chia seeds as the main ingredient.

A chocolate mousse that is made with chia seeds and it’s also vegan?! "Is that even possible?", you might ask, and the answer is “yes, and I have the proof”


This chocolate mousse has the best smooth texture, typical of a mousse, and it has the perfect flavor. It’s very similar in taste to a normal chocolate mousse, but you have the bonus of being healthier, since it doesn’t have any additional sugars, and it’s vegan. I like to include everyone in my recipes.


Super easy to make: you just put everything in a blender and blend blend blend! In the end, the result is totally mind-blowing.


Here I give you the ingredients list!



Ingredients

  • 85g chia seeds

  • 3 tbsp cacao powder

  • 2 cups (500ml) soy milk

  • 2 tbsp peanut butter

  • ¼ cup (60ml) maple syrup

  • ½ tsp vanilla essence






How to do it

  1. Put the chia seeds in a blender and pulse until you get a flour texture.

  2. Then, put the rest of the ingredients: cacao powder, soy milk, peanut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla. Blend until you get a mousse texture.

  3. Stop a few times to mix with a spoon for everything to be well blended.


This recipe is perfect to make when you have guests for dinner in your house. I guarantee they will be mouth open when they eat it. If you wanna be fancy you can put strawberries and granola on top.
